CLOE Scholarship
On December 8, 2004 the City of Karlsruhe celebrated the official
start of the CLOE Network (Clusters Linked over Europe).
The City of Karlsruhe carries out activities in the field of business
start-ups and the transfer of technology between research and economy.
One of the activities is the CLOE Scholarship at the HECTOR School
of Engineering and Management.
The scholarship is available for young professionals from the regions of:
- Lyon/France
- Linz/Austria
- Värmland/Sweden
- Tartu/Estonia
- Timisoara/Rumania
- Kaliningrad/Russia
Based on the well established Karlsruhe Model for the Economics and Business
Engineering Degree, a comprehensive range of Executive Master Programs will
be launched in October 2005. The CLOE Network offers outstanding young
professionals a scholarship for one of the following study programs at
the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management:

| Master of Science in Information Engineering |
 |
| Master of Science in Financial Engineering |
 |
| Master of Science in Integrated Circuit and System Technology |
 |
Applicants from the six regions should be employed in a company participating
in the CLOE Network. All programs are run on a part-time basis and are taught
in English. The scholarship covers tuition fees amounting to 30.000 EUR.
Admittance Requirements
- Fulfilment of the admission criteria
for the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management
- Letter of support from the company and from a member of the CLOE Network
Selection Process
- The selection process is carried out by the admission committee of the respective study programs
- Representatives of the CLOE Network will take part in the selection of the scholarship holders
- The decision of the admission committee is binding and final
